This is my view for the next week or so. I had surgery again on my ankle. This was the 4th. Had been having a lot of pain and surgery was the answer. Dr. Shaw told Derek he removed some bone spurs and arthritis. He also shaved off some of my tibia and ankle bone because they were rubbing on each other. I stayed overnight in the hospital because of pain. My previous surgeries were pretty much pain free. This one not so much. Today is 4 days after surgery and I am doing much better. No narcotics today, only ibuprofen. I am very ready to get rid of this cast. It is heavy and the wrap inside is all bunched up. Imagine walking around for 4 days with a fold in your sock on the bottom of your foot. Will update on Wednesday after I see the MD.
